Duty First Consulting LLC is a Virginia-based company operationalized in 2009 to provide information technology and management consulting services to federal government agencies and commercial organizations. The company was founded by a group of senior consulting professionals who have been providing services to the federal government over the past 15 years.

The co-founders Terry Speegle and Ronald Aument are both proud veterans of the United States Army. Mr. Speegle has over 16 years experience delivering innovative and business enhancing management consulting and technology solutions to government clients in both the United States and abroad. Mr. Aument is a former federal senior executive who served in key positions for the US Department of Veterans Affairs over a 35 year career. Duty First Consulting meets the requirements to conduct business as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). 

With years of participation in mission-critical client projects and collaboration with leading experts, software providers and policy makers, we have developed unique expertise in the areas of:

Some have served our country directly. Some are military spouses, children, and family members. All are exceptional in their area of expertise.
