Presidential Executive Order 13360, signed October 20, 2004 by President George W. Bush, called for a significant increase in federal contracting and subcontracting opportunities for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. The central feature of the Executive Order called for all Federal agencies to develop a strategic plan to significantly increase its contracting and subcontracting with small businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans.

Duty First Consulting is proud to have been awarded both Mission Oriented Business Integration Services (MOBIS) Schedule and IT Schedule 70 contracts by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Our IT Schedule 70 is a five-year contract, effective August 12, 2010, that enables Federal, state and local government agencies convenient, direct access to Duty First Consulting’s IT professional services through a streamlined procurement process. Our MOBIS Schedule, awarded on November 29, 2011, is a five-year contract that enables Federal, state and local government agencies convenient, direct access to Duty First Consulting’s consulting professional services via Special Item 874-1: Consulting Services and Special Item 874-7:Program and Project Management Services. Throughout this period, our size standard is certified as Small (<$7M).

Duty First Consulting also has a number of subcontract relationships on various contract vehicles and Task Orders with the Federal Government. We are registered with CCR and ORCA in order to directly transact business with the Federal Government, and we have teaming relationships in place to leverage other contracting vehicles such as the VETS GWAC, SeaPort-e, and VA T4.
